The Rise Up Project is dedicated to educating students about their fundamental human rights and empowering them to take meaningful action in their communities. We provide resources, training, and support to help young people understand issues such as civil rights, social justice, and advocacy, while equipping them with the tools to engage in activism and raise awareness. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of advocates who will Rise Up for justice and equality.
Here at The Rise Up Project, we are committed to making measurable impacts in our communities! We are dedicated students who know first hand how human rights education empowers academic studies and community interactions.
Hello! We are Kate and Leah. We are students who know first hand how critical education is to making a real impact. Many people want to help advocate for their friends, families, and fellow humans, but often the biggest road block is not knowing where to start. That's why we founded The Rise Up Project! We are passionate about translating the areas Political Science and International Relations into accessible and engaging learning activities targeted at local high school students. When we are not knee deep in case law, we enjoy debating, baking, sewing, and obviously, reading!
